I’ve always been a cat person. Don’t mistake me I like dogs too but if I had to choose between the two, I’d probably go for the former. So anyway, recently we took up a project with a shopping portal wherein I was required to create a “Wild” themed look (the link for the same is at the bottom of this article). The scope was plenty but the first thought I had was of the of lethal big cats. And the challenge was that the look had to be created from personal belongings only. This made it even more exciting.
While everyone is still trying to deal with Diwali hangover, going back to work mode just yet is simply unfair. And even though experimenting with formals is fun, why not revel in the festivities just a little longer? Most people in India go on vacations and travel during this time of the year and since its clearly not advisable to enjoy the holidays in a complete traditional “Ghaghara”, here is how you can add twist to your casuals!
Printed fabrics are as catchy as colour blocks. Believe it or not but prints with big characters will make you look slimmer. Similarly prints that are more detailed can add volume to your silhouette. And not to forget, they are definitely more interesting than plain fabrics.
Soft and cozy as it is, Velvet is famously known as a royal fabric. And it has made a come back on Indian as well as international platforms this season just like all other trends do, so if you fancy wearing something Velvet, the time is now!
